Have you ever felt alone with your thoughts? You have been feeling disconnected from the world around you. These emotions can be heavy and overwhelming, and you may even find yourself thinking, “I don’t even know where to start.” You might long for the days when you felt grounded, present, and understood. These feelings are completely valid and acknowledging them is the first step toward regaining a sense of self.

My name is Millan Lawrence, and I take a comprehensive approach to therapy, tailoring evidence-based techniques to support your unique goals. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, and other modalities. I listen deeply and work collaboratively with you to explore challenges, build self-awareness, and strengthen your capacity for growth and change.

My background includes over a decade of volunteer work within community support networks and professional roles as a residential counsellor and behavioral therapist. I am also a fully licensed Veterinary Technician currently in active practice, and I plan to integrate this experience into future pet-assisted therapy. I hold a B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Ottawa and am in the final stages of completing my master’s degree in counselling psychology.
